NIPT

Consultation – Speak with your doctor to determine if NIPT is right for you.
Sample Collection – A small 10 ml maternal blood sample is taken.
Lab Testing – The baby’s DNA (cfDNA) is analyzed in our lab.
Results – Delivered within 5–9 days
Genetic Counseling – Available if results indicate a high-risk finding.

NIPT is a screening test based on cfDNA and is not diagnostic. High-risk results should be confirmed with diagnostic testing (e.g., amniocentesis). Sex prediction is highly accurate when fetal fraction is sufficient; accuracy may be affected by low fetal fraction, maternal mosaicism, or vanishing twins. Genetic counseling is recommended.
